Kerala meets Clarkston, with a side of cardamom.

An Indo-Scottish kitchen in the south side of Glasgow. Mum's butter chicken, a shepherd's pie in a tikka coat, and cocktails that taste like a monsoon afternoon.

01 — The story

Built on mum's recipe book and a stubborn streak.

Asharaf landed in Glasgow in 1994 with three saucepans and a clipping of his mother's butter chicken recipe. Thirty-two years later, the saucepans are still in rotation, the recipe is on the menu, and we've added a few things.

Expect shepherd's pie with a tikka coat, scotch eggs with kheema inside, and a pudding trolley that takes things personally. We make everything in-house, pour a proper drink, and turn the lights down at eight.
